You are eligible for vocational rehabilitation services if:
- You are an “individual with a disability”, and
- You need the services to get a job.[1]Title 9, Cal Code Regs. section 7062.
“Individual with a disability” means you have a physical or mental impairment that makes it much harder for you to get a job, and vocational rehabilitation services would help you get a job.[2]Title 29, United States Code sections 19151 and 705(20); Title 9, Cal. Code Regs. section 7017. If you get SSI or SSDI, you are automatically eligible for services.[3]Title 29 United States Code section 722.
