Licensed or certified residential care facilities or foster family homes that already get money to provide care and supervision to people with disabilities are not eligible for respite services.[1]Title 17 Cal. Code Regs. Section 54302(a)(29). But, a relative foster parent who is not receiving money for acting as a foster parent could get respite services.
