(6.24) Are facilities that care for children with developmental disabilities or foster family homes able to get respite care hours?

Licensed or certified residential care facilities or foster family homes that already get money to provide care and supervision to people with disabilities are not eligible for respite services.[1]Title 17 Cal. Code Regs. Section 54302(a)(29). But, a relative foster parent who is not receiving money for acting as a foster parent could get respite services.
