(5.22) How can I make sure the system considers the opinions of people of different ethnicities?

The system needs input from different groups to meet the needs of all of its members. The law says a regional center must do all it can to make sure that its task forces and advisory groups have consumers and family members from the community’s multicultural diversity.[1]Section 4640.8. If you are a member of one of these communities, you are an asset to the regional center when it forms these groups. This law may help you join one of them if you want to serve.
