Regional centers must:

  • Find people who may need regional center services.[2]Section 4641.
  • Evaluate people who apply for regional center services to decide if they are eligible.[3]Sections 4642 and 4643.
  • Coordinate services for all regional center consumers.[4]Sections 4640.6 and 4647.
  • Develop an Individual Program Plan (IPP) that considers your needs and choices.[5]Sections 4646 and 4646.5.

  • Develop new services and supports
