The job of service coordinator is very important.^[1]Section 4647(b). The Lanterman Act says that no person can continue as your service coordinator unless you agree.^[2]Section 4647(b). So, you can ask for a different service coordinator if you are unhappy with yours. If the regional center wants to change your service coordinator permanently, they must give you a written notice within 10 business days.^[3]Section 4647(b).
