Dice que no pueden recibir ayuda por parte de los organismos gubernamentales del estado, por lo que los organismos comunitarios sin fines de lucro deben brindarles esos servicios.<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_790_1('footnote_plugin_reference_790_1_5');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_790_1('footnote_plugin_reference_790_1_5');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_790_1_5\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[5]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_790_1_5\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">Seccion 4620(b)<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_790_1_5').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_790_1_5', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top center', relative: true, offset: [-7, 0], });<\/script>  La Ley cre\u00f3 un sistema de 21&nbsp;centros regionales privados sin fines de lucro en toda California. Cada centro regional es el organismo local que garantiza que las personas con discapacidades del desarrollo que viven en el \u00e1rea de responsabilidad de ese centro regional obtengan los servicios y apoyos que necesitan. El centro regional paga algunos servicios del IPP. El centro regional le asignar\u00e1 un coordinador de servicios. Esta persona lo ayudar\u00e1 a obtener los servicios enumerados en su IPP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La ley le da maneras de hacer cumplir sus derechos, lo que incluye su derecho a recibir los servicios y apoyos que necesita y elige. Cuando le pide al centro regional que pague algo, como m\u00e1s horas de relevo, en realidad le est\u00e1 pidiendo que cambie su IPP para que incluya la nueva cantidad de horas. Si el centro regional rechaza su pedido y usted considera que se equivoca, puede apelar esa decisi\u00f3n. Por ejemplo, si solicita una reuni\u00f3n del IPP y el centro regional se niega a programarla, puede presentar un reclamo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n puede usar servicios de defensa independientes para obtener asesoramiento o ayuda.
