La Ley Lanterman reconoce que la mayor\u00eda de los ni\u00f1os menores de 18 a\u00f1os tienen m\u00e1s oportunidades de crecimiento educativo y social si viven con sus familias. La ley considera que es importante desarrollar y expandir los servicios para familias con ni\u00f1os con discapacidades del desarrollo. <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\"
